Marketing and Services

Total has a downstream affiliate in Marketing and Distritbution of lubrications and fuel with the main office base here in Port Moresby operating as Total Oil Asia Pacific PNG Limited.

Total Oil Asia Pacific operates Lubricant warehouses in Port Moresby and Lae and commenced fuel sales in April 2014. Badili service station is a recently opened retail outlet, with other openings in the suburbs and provinces to come soon.

Exploration and Production

Our operations in Papua New Guinea began in 2014 and we wish to continue our activities in oil and gas exploration including deep water mining over the coming 35 years.

Total Exploration & Production PNG Limited (TEPPNG ) is the Project Operator of PNG's 2nd Largest LNG, the Papua LNG.



Digicel PNG Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that distributes and utilizes funds for the sole purpose of building communities and community spirit in community development projects and other initiatives.
The foundation provides young children with access to basic education, access to basic health services in rural and other marginalized areas, support to marginalized communities to become more self-reliant, and it provides basic services for victims of domestic violence and provides access and basic services to people with special needs.

Digicel PNG Foundation is committed to building and strengthening Papua New Guinea’s socially marginalized, rural and remote communities through leadership in advancing education that is inclusive and healthcare that is accessible.It strengthens communities of today for generations to come.


In 2016 Total E&P PNG Limited, through its Building Partnership with Organizations philosophy, designed to address development needs, entered into a mutual agreement with Digicel (PNG) Foundation to ensure shared understanding and to provide mutual support for the benefit of the Project Area of Influnce ("PAOI") upstream, in particular, of the Kikori District, Baimuru and Ihu LLG, Gulf Province. Ideally, the aim is to work towards achieving an overall improvment in the quality and efficiency of the delivery of health and education services. This collaboration  witnessed the inauguration of the first  permanent double classroom in Poroi Village,  with the second in Muro Village inauguated in March 2018. A newly completed Aid Post, which comes fully kitted with a patient treatment room, drugs storage room, rest room (toilet) facilities with solar lighting and sink, is set to be inaugurated in February 2019 for the community of Evara and nearby villages. The people of Evara have been using the community hall buildling as its aid post after the their old aid post became unfit for use.
